Ladies, and gentlemen, boys and girls. Over the next few weeks I’ll be introducing the Qualifier stores for the 2013 40K Cage Match. Stay tuned to hear about the stores’ info and all they are doing locally.

First Up, FANATIX out of Dothan. I met Phillip (Store Owner) and a few of the community members while I was in Dothan for work. I never got a chance to stay for long because of the hour that I got there, but from the conversations I had, it was clear that the Dothan gamers have a strong community. Talks of playing at each others houses because of the lack of a game store reminded me of some Rocket City Gamers stories. BBQ, camping, and house gaming parties is the heart of this community. Now they’ve had a consistent game store out of FANATIX for the past three years. After moving three times, due to the growth from the support of the community and the owners, it appears they are here to stay. But enough from me, I’ll let Phillip tell you himself.

CJ Cards & Games is a recent addition to the local scene. A clean store primed and ready for all things gaming. I look forward to this weekend’s (Jan 5th) Practice round to meet even more gamers and air out those lists. Tim is the go-to-guy at CJs and he would like to say a few words.
