JBW: Hey Johnny, Thanks for taking the time to talk to me. So how did you get into 40K?
I had older friends that played when I lived up north. When I moved down south I ran into it again at age 18 at a local gaming club with a friend Jason Dungan and we both got hooked. I took many years off from the hobby and pick it back up last year.
JBW: Do you have other armies? Would you mind giving us a quick list of them?
I have Tau as my primary army and a yet to be completed Marine army. I also have pieces of my old Crimson Fist army from the 90’s.
JBW: What’s your favorite part of the game, is it the hobby, gaming, or something else?
I enjoy painting the most and I’m what most call a hobbyist. I do enjoy playing and competing but not with the same passion as painting.
JBW: In your opinion what qualities do you think makes for a good tournament player, or a good player overall?
Learn to lose with grace cause it will happen no matter how beat stick your list it. Then learn to improve from your loss and always nice forward as a player
JBW: This is your first time attending the CAGE Match. What do you look forward to by attending this event?

JBW: You’ve recently taken a strong initiative in your local gaming scene. Can you share with us the tactics that you use to promote gaming in your area?
Run it like a business and build a foundation that will carry the club and attract others to it. Use all the tools you have to get folks in the door so you can show them the game or make old players dust off their models and come back. Excitement breeds excitement, you have to make it something folks want to be as part of .
